Ambassador-designate of Sri Lanka visited the Ethiopia Tamirt (Made in Ethiopia) 2026 (i.e. 2018 in Ethiopian calendar) International Expo, engaging actively with Ethiopian manufacturers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and emerging business leaders showcasing the Ethiopia’s growing industrial and production capabilities.
During the visit, the Ambassador-designate explored a wide range of locally manufactured products and innovative solutions presented by Ethiopian enterprises, reflecting Ethiopia’s strong commitment to industrial transformation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth.
The Ambassador-designate also encouraged greater participation of Ethiopian businesses in regional and international trade exhibitions, including Sri Lanka Expo 2027, to further strengthen commercial ties and investment opportunities between the two friendly nations.
